元老理事会

马华中央委员会于15-02-2009会议上，依据党章委任前任副总会长拿督叶炳汉为元老理事会主席之职，依据党章第九章元老理事会组织，职务和权力如下：

50. 总会长可以随时与中央委员会磋商后委任党员组成元老理事会，如果总会长认为适当时，也可以随时停止该委任。

51. 元老理事会之任务是就本党重要事务向总会长提供意见。

COMPOSITION, FUNCTIONS AND POWERS

50. The President may, from time to time, after consultation with the Central Committee, appoint members of the Party form a Council of Elders and may terminate such appointment if and when he thinks fit.

51. The function of the Council of Elders is to tender advice to the President on matters of importance to the Party.
