Two more Tamil Schools, SJKT Mahkota Cheras, Cheras, Selangor (24 Classrooms cost RM21 Million) and Bandar Seri Alam, Pasir Gudang, Johore (18 Classrooms cost RM20.7 Million) will open by January 2018, says MIC President, Dr. S Subramaniam.
"These schools are Government aided, thus the construction cost will be borne by the Government".

MIC President, Dr. S. Subramaniam said, the Education Ministry had spent RM 370 Millions over the last seven years to build and upgrade Tamil School in the country and the PM Department which allocated another RM 20 Million to develop 13 Tamil school in the City!
The Government will relocate 60 Tamil schools to suitale locations in phases over next 10 years!
