SJK (T) Bangi Lama has started construction One new block!

One new block of double-storey for SJK (T) Bangi Lama has started construction and scheduled for completion before end of this year. The Ministry of Education has allocated RM 2 Millions to assist in the improvements of education facilities of Tamils’ school in Bangi Lama. This reflects the Federal Government views seriously in upgrading the standards of education for Indians’ community.

This was stated by Dato’ Yap Pian Hon when he visited and inspected the construction site of the new school building with UMNO Serdang Division leaders which include Ungku Salleh, Youth Chief , Major (R) Rahim Bin Mohd. Amin, Deputy Chariman, Encik Baharin Bin Aminuddin, Division Secretary, MCA Bangi leader Yong Fook Choy, Yong Kwai Fong and local Indian NGOs’ leaders like Encik Somasundaram A/L Chelliah and Encik S. Sekar A/L Samikannu, Headmistress Puan Davi A/P K.K Pilla.

The new school block will have 6 classrooms, Computer, Science, Living Skills Rooms, Teachers’ office and a new canteen. Public Works Department has temporarily put up two cabins to be utilized as classrooms while the existing block to be demolished for construction of the new block.

Dato’ Yap is grateful to the Ministry in fulfilling the commitments for improvements of education facilities of Tamil Schools in Bangi Lama and also a completed block of RM 2.3 Millions for SJK(T) Taman West Country, Bangi which were strongly requested by the local Indians community through his relentless efforts during his term as Member of Parliament for Serdang.
